eatART co-founder, Jonathan Tippett had a blast giving an inside look at the creative journey that lead him to build two of eatART's flagship projects; The Mondo Spider and Prosthesis: The Anti-Robot. Check out https://digitaldiscussions.beakerhead.com/ to learn how you can get access to this in depth story along with the stories of other innovators in the STEAM space.
Jonathan and the Prosthesis team are excited to present their creation at Pragyan 2021, an annual tech conference produced by "NIT Trichy" (National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli) one of India's oldest, and most prestigious technical universities. Jonathan will be streaming live this Saturday morning (13th) at 5am Vancouver time if you want to catch a live Prosthesis demo!
This will be huge for artists in Vancouver!
Prosthesis was still crushing it in 2020!
Forging community through creative work and celebration is a core aspect of what eatART exists to do. A year without that celebration has been hard for all of us at eatART and we hope to be back together soon. In the meantime here's a video we put together from the last party to take place at the eatART Lab. Here's to a new year of creativity, community, and science. As always, we exist to support the sculpture, mechanical, and technical artists in Vancouver. We can provide space, tooling, administrative support, and a close knit community of engineers and fabricators to help realize your dreams. Applications to work with us are always open on our website: www.eatart.org

Very excited for this!
Lots of great stuff happening with Prosthesis: The Anti-Robot these days.
Hey Friends, Daisy is looking for some help. We've been storing her trailer inside eatART's new lab space for the past year. It's taking up valuable space that could be dedicated to the creation of more art in Vancouver. Hoping someone from the community might have a solution for us. It can be outside, uncovered, within a 1.5 hour drive of Vancouver. Doesn't need to be accessed regularly, no plans for a tour for the next year. We'd have a small budget to help pay for the space but a donation of space would be appreciated. Total footprint is 8' x 20'. Any help or ideas appreciated. We're in the middle of dialing in the shop to make room for the next generation of improbable, community driven art work. Sooner we roll out the better.
You can really see how the pilot is linked to the machine. So awesome. Can't wait for more videos.
