Friday February 8th is our first feature dinner presentation. It promises to be an amazing night featuring food and wines from Italy. Our soon to be graduates are so excited to present five delicious courses complete with wines paired with each dish. Reservations are filling up quickly so call 519-972-2726 to secure your spot.

I'm trying to keep this news under my winter touque but it's too delicious not to share. There is going to be a fabulous Christmas feast night featuring all the Christmas favourites. How awesome to have a relaxing festive meal with family or a bunch of besties, served to you and have narry a worry about clean up. The bonus is that it's in the beautiful Eatery 101. It's going to be announced soon so keep checking the Eatery site.

The lights are back on in Eatery 101 September 12th. The student are excited to showcase their talents and improve their skills. Eatery 101 is an integral part of a Culinary student's journey as it prepares them for "the real world. Wishing Chef Mike Jimmerfield and the new team of second year students a great opening day!

Everyone is heading off for some vacation now that our graduating class has turned the lights off in Eatery 101 for the last time. We are sad and joyful at the same time, and proud of every one of them. First year students will be picking up the torch in Eatery and the lights will be back on in September. Second year students created sour dough bread from natural starter and beautiful all butter croissants. Nice work everyone! Next week on to chocolate and sugar. This is always a challenge but they are so excited to learn all about it.

Second year students creating cheddar and onion loaves, sesame white bread, croissants and feeding their Sourdough starters.

The Eatery has been pretty busy with patrons coming in to try the new menu. It is fabulous! Ginger Beef with Jasmine rice and pickled vegetables, stacked grilled cheese, buttermilk fried chicken sandwich, fresh soups that change every day, crunchy spring rolls and many more delectable offerings. I heard whispers about a tapas menu being offered as a late afternoon treat where folks can relax a little after a long day. Stay tuned for this one. Seasonal desserts are also mak...ing a début so come by and treat yourself to some Pumpkin Cheesecake with Pecan Brittle. They offer take- home too. See you soon!
