School is done at 1:45 pm Thursday Quiet day Friday Quiet day IMPORTANT REMINDER School bell (start) times have changed. Bells ring at 8:25 for students to line up at their assigned doors and come inside with their teacher. Oh Canada is sung after the 8:30 bell. Students arriving after this will be marked as late in attendance.

Lakeland Catholic students registered in online learning will receive an email confirming their registration and notifying them of next steps today, August 31, 2020! Look for it in your INBOX! Online teachers will contact their students by Friday, September 4 to introduce themselves and welcome them to their classes. ... Online learning will begin for all students registered in LCOL (Lakeland Catholic Online Learning) after the Labour day long weekend. Students can expect to receive their course materials the week of September 8-10, with live instruction happening by September 10. #LCSDJoy

Reminders...... 1. Tomorrow & Thursday are letters A-K then L-Z are on Wednesday & Friday. Please go to your assigned doors. 2. Masks are mandatory for grade 4 & any adults in the building. Please sanitize when you come in the building. ... 3. Reminder one parent per family & it is ok to send them on the bus or walking. We will have lots of adults around to assist when they arrive. 4. Out of School Care opens next week on Tuesday. Miss Chantel will be the aide working with our students. She is excited to be back this year. Morning care opens at 7:15 and you can come in through the south door (by the garbage bin). After school care is open from 3:25-6:00. Pick up must be promptly at 6:00 pm. OOSC will be in the first preschool room this year. It is the second door on your left when you come into the building. Just past the music room. ... When entering the building for drop off it is one parent per family and you must sanitize your hands and have a mask on. If the child is in grade 4, he/she must have a mask on the whole time in OOSC. For the first week, please send a snack with your child until we are up and running to full capacity next week. If you want to register there is still space. Please do so ASAP. It can be done online or you can drop by the school and fill out the forms. When picking up your child at the end of the day you will need to call Miss Chantel on her cell and she will bring your child to the front door to meet you & sign out. Her number will be included in the first newsletter home. We will take all precautions to keep your child safe and happy when in our program. A huge thank you to Rednecks with a Cause for their generous donation to our little man Aoun. He uses technology as his words when here at school and now he has them at home. Rednecks with a Cause purchased him an iPad, prologuo2go app, and a case. So grateful for their generosity and for making a difference.

REPORT CARD DAY!!! Thursday, June 25th Kindergarten: front pad of the school Grade 1- K-2 doors by playground Grade 2: South doors by the gate (1st doors)... Grade 3: south doors by monkey bars (2nd doors) Grade 4: at the gym door. Things to remember: 1. Needed to book a time for pick up with your childs teacher 2. Social distancing is still in effect 3. Our 2019-2020 yearbooks did go to print this year and they will be coming. Due to Covid-19 disruption the yearbooks will be available but not until September. Sorry for any inconvenience but they will be delivered in the fall and we will make sure you get it.
