Congrats to our winners of 2021’s #MarchMEAET event, sponsored by RBC! Our first prize winner is Majesty and Friends, who will receive $2500 to put towards their business. Our second place, Golomein will take away $1000 in winnings to put towards their establishment! We have had over 3000 votes in this incredible #yeg contest, promoting our local businesses- we’ve also had so many of you participate and celebrate with us as part of our giveaways each week. Thanks to Ellie H...eath for being our enthusiastic host, and for sharing all the details of the various parts of the event throughout the month with us! A big thanks to Sugared and Spiced, Kind Ice Cream, Lock Stock Coffee, and Jovic Bakery for providing our Nextgen’ers with something delicious to take away this month in addition to their Nextgen swag! Today is the day of our Week 4 Giveaway as part of #MarchMEAET, presented by RBC! This week, RBC selected a female, black-owned business, Jovic Bakery for our EAT giveaway! The first 50 people to visit in-store at Jovic Bakery and say NextGen will receive a free ding dong cake (vanilla, chocolate or lemon)! The giveaway will include one cake per person, available till quantities last. Jovic Bakery is a local #YEG bakery that specializes in healthy meals and baked goods, in...cluding diabetic friendly pastries and keto goodies! It’s a female, black owned business, owned by Ijeoma Omodu who took a break from her engineering career to pursue her passion! We are so happy to be able to enjoy the tasty rewards and to be able to share them with all of you!
