Epic White Water 10.11.2020

So after 6 years of dreaming about this section and 5 failed attempts to reach it the stars finally aligned and managed to get a piece of it. Due to a log in the upper Canyon we missed the triple falls and low water meant the slide was a Portage. For the gradient 400ft per mile it's a very clean and good to go section definitely going to rally this and Renshaw creek next year.

First decent or Renshaw creek 3 days hiking in some porcupine issues 5 days paddling out all to try to access the upper morkill unfortunately we didn't have enough time with hiking in to run the goods on the morkill. Renshaw turned out to be high quality run well worth doing. Managed to hike back into the morkill later and finally got that run as well. Thanks to everyone that made this trip happen!

A few weeks ago I decided to try rafting the upper Fraser and the Canyon things went well until terminator were me and my willing volunteer had a tandem swim. Probably wasn't really a good idea taking a girl that has never swam whitewater into terminator but I don't always come up with good idea's. A big thanks to Nathan Rondeau for coming along for safety and helping to retrieve the raft.
