So, looks like we are heading into more closures over the weekend. The good news is that dog trainers are still allowed to operate. All private sessions that have been scheduled are fine to go ahead as planned. Stay tuned for more updates on group classes. I still have to double check class sizes for indoor, and outdoor classes. Great day of CARO Rally at the Poodlefarm! Artax earned her first Advanced leg with an impressive 199. Quest finished her Advanced title, and debuted in Excellent with a perfect 200 . Audie, Artax and Asura debuted in the rally ring today with great results. Audie picked up two Novice A qualifying scores placing 1st and 3rd, and Artax, and Asura picked up 3 Qs each to earn their Novice B titles. Artax scored 198, 200, and 200 for three 1st placings, and Asura scored 190, 195, and 194 for 2nd place behind her sister. Asura vows to beat her next time . Brody had 3 near misses in Advanced A, but had a blast trialling with Jess anyways. Quest came home with 2 Advanced B Qs (193, and 200). Thanks to the Poodlefarm for hosting a fun, smooth, COVID safe trial, and thanks to judges Debbie DaCosta, and Sarah Hughes for the fun and challenging courses.

New Puppy Class and Obedience Class Offerings Starting Saturday November 28th 5pm Junior Puppy (8 weeks to 5 months) We will talk about all the puppy raising staples like crate training, potty training, biting, and chewing. Obedience training will include: Sit, down, stay, come, leave it, loose leash walking, polite greetings and more. 6pm Senior Puppy (4 12 months) For puppies who have started obedience and older puppies not suitable for junior puppy. We will teach or pro...gress: sit, down, stand, stay, go to place, come, loose leash walking, polite greeting, heel, and leave it. This class will also allow for proofing against distractions, and exploring some agility and trick training. 7pm Adult Obedience (12 months and up) We will teach or progress: sit, down, stand, stay, go to place, come, loose leash walking, polite greeting, heel, and leave it. This class will also allow for proofing against distractions, and exploring some agility and trick training. Classes will run for 6 weeks with a 2 week break for Christmas and New Year’s. They will be held indoors at Dogwood Centre in Puslinch with a max of 4 dogs per class, and no more than 2 people per dog to keep down numbers. Masks will be mandatory unless medically exempt.
