The 2019-20 and 2020-21 school years were unusual and challenging for Erudite School but our teachers gained valuable experience and knowledge. Preparations are underway for the 2021-2022 school year. With cameras, screens and laptops set up in the classrooms, our school is completely equipped to provide lessons to support our students, if circumstances dictate. We are excited to welcome new students to our school. Currently, there are a few spots remaining.... Assessments for French, Math and English are provided for each student at no cost. The information gathered will allow our team of teachers to successfully create an individual learning map for your child. Please contact us with any questions or to book an assessment.
We have received an outstanding Google review from our student's parents. Thank you so much, Olga Palatnik, for taking your time and writing such a detailed review! Worth sharing here: I want to share what an outstanding job this little school is doing, especially during the pandemic.... Curriculum: Because the school is so small it's tailored to your child's needs. The teachers are flexible and will work with you to make sure your child's needs are met. Math and English are outstanding, French is daily and taken seriously, PE is actually a real class not just a talk about feeling, science is fun and engaging, and of course there is an extra goody of learning the Russian language. Art is also very engaging and fun, even for those who do not consider themselves artistic. Pandemic: The school did an AMAZING job during quarantine. Its ridiculously hard to be a teacher and take control over small kids on zoom while keeping them engaged. The online schedule focused on allowing parents to work, with very reasonable breaks for kids. It was just so well thought through and accommodating. School's leadership: The principal Olga Orlova is a super woman. She deserves a medal. She is steady, cool, calm, collected, knowledgable, reasonable, a great educator and and a great communicator. She will not sugar coat anything, will love your children, and is extremely passionate about kids getting the absolute best education possible in a small class setting. Food: This is just gold for working parents. They have catering. Not hamburgers and hot dogs catering, but actual soup + seconds + thirds catering. Which kid can come home and say they had vegetable soup with meatballs and cheese blintzes? Cost is very reasonable. Honestly, I would send my son there for the catering alone :) If you are considering this school, feel free to reach out to me as a parent (i'm easily found on linked in) and I will give you my honest bias opinion.
It is hard to underestimate the importance of Physical Education subject during these challenging times. Grade Three Challenge of the Week: 10 burpees, 10 push-ups, 50 squats. #physed #eruditeschooltoronto #challengeoftheweek
