Send us a selfie of you on your first day of placement! If you are teaching virtually, send us a picture of you and your set up. If you are teaching in person, send us a selfie in your classroom or outside your school! The selfies will then be posted throughout the week so your peers can see it and we can all support each other as we start off our placements! The specific employers hosting webinars for Education students are:Engage Education,Anzuk Education,The Boundless School,Simcoe County District School Board,York Region District School Board, andImpact Teachers.... This is a great opportunity to 'practice' interviewing whether you are in Year 1 or 2 of the program, AND, if you are interested in a specific Board, to obtain details and make contacts, OR emerge with a potential contract for next year. If there are conflicts between your class schedule and the webinars make sure to talk to your professors and discuss your attendance with them; We're sure they'd be happy to support you in your career endeavors! ESTA presents...logo design contest for Lakehead Education students. We are looking for artists to create a new logo design to be featured on merchandise for Education program students. For copyright compliance, any design must refrain from using 'Lakehead University' and the tagline "Exceptional. Unconventional." LU Education, Lakehead Education are acceptable alternatives. A vote will be held to determine the winning design. The winning artist will receive a complimentary t-shirt with the design.
