Productive day today! I am finally out of the shampoo and conditioner are usually use and I am going to try to make the switch to YL. I chose lavender mint shampoo and copaiba vanilla conditioner, since I have thick curly hair I transferred them to the big bottles my old shampoo was in #upcycle. Recipe: - one bottle of shampoo/conditioner - Same amount water (1/2 the concentration) ... - 40-50 drops of oils - are used cedarwood and lavender and Rosemary since they are really good for your hair Then I decided since I am almost out of body wash, which I use Seedlings body wash from YL, to try a DIY body wash which I put in the bottles that the shampoo and conditioner originally came in! Recipe: - 1/2c Castile soap - 2tbsp vitamin E oil (or you can use jojoba) - 1/2c water - 30 drops essential oils - I useused 10 drops of each: lavender, stress away, and citrus fresh I also refilled my sleep roller and made an immunity roller because I need all I can get at a time like this!! Ps. My hair will go through a detox when I start using the shampoo so I plan to keep you guys updated so if you are interested in making a switch to a natural alternative to shampoo and conditioner you have an idea of what the experience will be like!
