So many signs of language disorders in preschoolers but a big one is that they cannot answer questions and have conversations with you. They may talk and have vocabulary but the quality of their communication is off and skills are scattered. See a speech-language pathologist if you’re concerned. Early intervention makes a huge difference and many times we can work on goals to fill in the gaps so they no longer have disordered language or at least make significant improvements. I love working with children with language disorders...their progress can be amazing when parents target goals at home. There is no wait list if you live in Winnipeg too.

I can still name all my teachers from grade 1-12. Many were good and a few were life changing.
