Powder brows. This is a healed brow on a client with oily skin. This is a great result for a single session healed brow... and a good example of why permanent makeup is a 2-part process. Today, I will use the same color formulation and add depth, saturation and shape by tattooing more pigment into the healed brow. Permanent makeup artists consider this a second skin in a way... allowing us to layer a brow in a way that mimics a makeup brow. Eyebrow work fresh off the nee...dle isn’t always the best judge of the artists skill. In my opinion, healed work is an excellent indicator of an artists skill level. The more consistent the color looks, the more pigment retained, the more balanced the shape... the more advanced the artist is. Poorly healed work can look patchy, barely there, over saturated like a sharpie marker brow and just plain-old-ugly. Choose an artist based on skill, education and evidence of great healed work.
