FC Edmonton 30.11.2020

We have an exciting announcement to make this New Years Eve! Striker Easton Ongaro will return to FC Edmonton for the 2021 season, the club announced today. The Edmonton native had been on loan with Vendsyssel FF (VFF) since early October, a club that currently competes in the Danish First Division, the second tier of Danish professional football. As part of the loan agreement, VFF had the option to sign the 22 year-old to a contract by December 31, but the club declined ...to exercise its transfer option, prompting Ongaro’s return to his hometown club. Easton has grown significantly through his time in the CPL and has also been able to develop further through his first professional experience in Europe, said FC Edmonton Head Coach, Alan Koch. I look forward to working with him and seeing how far we can take his game. He scores goals, and so we are really excited to start working with him and all his teammates to help set us up for success in the final third. It was very promising to see him score a few goals at the end of his loan spell in Denmark, and hopefully he can build from this in our pre-season. We are excited to have you back Easton! #FCEdmonton #FCEd
