Well folks we are entering into the season of Christmas....a time for many things, celebration, rest, and connection to loved ones. We put our tree up last night and as we sat back to appreciate its beauty, I was very aware that this year would be so different. Almost a sadness creeping in. We lost our family dog during the Christmas holidays not long ago. I also let the truths of the pandemics impact on Christmas sit there, but only for a moment. I choose to redirect myself ...to gratitude and appreciation. I choose not to be sucked into the vortex. There will always be tough stuff in life, and I recognize when things are dark, choosing to redirect self to the positive and hopeful can feel fleeting, not giving long lasting results.... But we can still hold onto a moment even if small, that says, it's gonna be okay! What is your moment to hold onto? See more

Mental Health awareness week Everyday all day all year.

Today my son returns to school for his first day in grade 7 and I can hardly believe the experience he's going to have. It's not at all what anyone imagines a school experience to look like. It's so strange to even contemplate the impact to their future this experience has been and will be. I know it's changed me that's for sure. What a strange time this is right!!! My wish for everyone now and moving forward, whatever your experience is, however you have been impacted, close your eyes, breath, and pause..... Make this time we are in count, let it change you for the better, focus on what really matters, and love people.

So excited to share this news with all of you!! I've been waiting patiently for Amy to get to this place in her life's journey. I'm so incredibly proud of her! I can't wait to refer clients her way. Such an incredible human!!!

I'm such a visual and hands on learner so I love this depiction creating stages for the process of a pandemic. Which stage do identify with today? And I say today because even though we may find ourselves in the growth stage today, it doesn't mean something won't change tomorrow to put us in survival mode.
