Ferry Godmother is looking to hire someone from Powell River to meet me in Courtenay and collect orders from me (such as Costco, Ikea and other pickups) to distribute in Powell River. There is a scheduled meet up time and place in PR that most people would come to and collect their things and some people will pay more for home delivery service. Home delivery expectations are to the door delivery only. No inside or white glove service. The driver will need to provide their own vehicle and a van is strongly suggested for this job as there can be a large amount if items. If you are interested, pm me for more details.

We are currently making trips to Ikea every Sunday with the exception of holiday weekends. Our next trip is Sunday, September 13th. If you would like to place an order:... We are waiting for two things before we head back over to the mainland, the Horseshoe Bay/Departure Bay ferry to resume (scheduled for June 2) and Ikea to open to walk in shopping. We are resuming pickups as far south as Nanaimo though and can make Ikea pickups from their Nanaimo collection point. Metro Vancouver update: We are still holding off at this point but hoping to get over there soon. Yes, Ikea has reopened their click and collect system but it is overloaded with requests and isn't reliable at this time. I am trying to figure out a way to work with it but for now I'm really hoping for an update from Ikea about their in store shopping. I'm expecting to hear something at the end of the week.
