These walls! I took a drive through memory lane yesterday. The first picture is a public school. Elizabeth Ziegler Public School. The most beautiful structure built in 1921. I remember Mr. Gardiner, Mrs Hughes and the playground. I remember walking to school and yes I picked a tulip from someone’s yard...it was so beautiful. This place! The second picture is a home I lived in occasionally with my grandparents. I know this place inside and out. I know all the work my Grandp...a did. I baked and cooked with my Grandma in that kitchen. I remember Sunday dinners. This house really shaped me. This place! The third picture is my Ontario high school. I spent grade 9 and half of grade 12 here. The people and experiences here had a big impact on me. KWCVI. Loved this building too. Those stairs and entry! Can’t meet for coffee with past clients? No problem. A walk in Sunnidale Park is just the ticket. Catch up time and fresh air. I love what I do. Wednesday Wisdom. Reminiscing on the files that I shredded from 7+years ago and this is what I know.... And I’ve heard it before and felt the truth but again today I know....... What are you looking for in your Realtor? Have you ever given that some thought? Before I was in a Realtor I admit that I certainly didn't give that a thought, but retrospectively I should have. I just picked the name from someone we knew and that was it. And retrospectively I felt that the Realtor didn't 'actually' care about our family or what we needed or wanted. Is that important to you? It should be or at least in my opinion it should be. Connection. Competence. C...are. These are a few things I believe should be in every relationship whether professional or not. I won't tell you I care without knowing you, but I will tell you that if given the chance to form a relationship I'm a loyal, caregiver with the competence to negotiate the best deal I can on your behalf. How ~ because I care. And I've just been through my own move. Yes, my family just moved after renovating a home that I thought we were going to stay in for a very long time. It's surreal. I negotiate a lot of sales in a year, but I have a unique empathy from just going through this myself. Moving is hard. It's stressful, but can be so worth it. Now that I'm in my new home I can tell you it's home. And there is nothing like being home. Call, message or connect via any social media channel and we can chat about what is important to you if you're considering moving.

Family. Being closer to family is a motivator when moving. 2020 for certain. Whether by choice or not real estate has been affected by the drive to be with family. My own two adult sons returned to the nest. And a plus one+! And we moved to allow for a more suitable home based on helping my family. ... It’s an adjustment because it’s not easy to live with family once you moved out. I get that Family. It’s something I’ll always support whether mine or helping you. Family means everything.

Goals! I’m not waiting for 2021! The calendar means nothing, but my goals mean everything. This year I’m working out from home more than ever- so I have the energy and confidence for those around me. And real estate takes stamina so this is the real deal. And those closest to me know what a different person a workout makes. Insert kick-butt emoji here! So for their interest they’re totally on board.... Thanks to my husband and son for this great surprise. My hope is stay healthy and be my best for me and for you.
