When the customer mentioned that they have ordered from me before, I was able to remember last year Mother’s Day delivery to one of Saskatoon senior homes. Today I delivered to a hospice, and even it was rather sad news, I was happy to become for a short time a mitigating and beautifying part of the story...

Since Valentines is over, it’s time to talk about love! There is something more to love than just one day, and more than just relationship of a couple (which also recently was considered being only non-same gender). This word is much bigger, and everything starts with self-love, as we were told again (and again!) It’s such a pleasure to get flowers ordered from another city, and another country! I’ve got this order from Chicago, specifying that the addressee girlfriend is no...t romantic, and describing her character and predilections. Boy, I wish someone not romantic would talk about me like that! Actually, I am really wondering how my best friend for over than 26 years would describe me The carcass of this bouquet is made of two crossing hearts and there is the essence of what we are, mixture of predilections and passions: partner, friends, pets, nature, certain geographical places, some types of food, red wine (me!) ... the list is endless, and it’s better so than the list of complaints or dislikes.
