Getting back to the gym after taking a break for school. I start with cleaning my body and taking small steps in my eating habits, go for bike ride to start the blood flow again. Yesterday I started again my gym membership and I was very excited to be back. ... I have gained weight and due to the neglect my body, i don't feel 100% and will be going hard again to mainting the health and happiness. Sometime you can get comfortable with being unhealhty, overweight, its normal but you should always fight to live clean. One should emember that this comfortability can increase your acceptance to live the unhealthy life style you choose. Don't get to comfortable... Let's go.

Deadlift Progress

Close Grip Bench Press
Barbell Lying Triceps Extension Lower the bar by bending the arms at the elbow. Keep the upper arms stationary once the movement begins. Lower the bar to the forehead area. Once the bar almost touches the forehead return the bar to the extended position. Repeat
Preparation Sit on inside of one of two benches placed parallel, slightly less than leg’s length away. Place hands on edge of bench, straighten arms, slide rear end off of bench, and position heels on adjacent bench with legs straight. Execution Lower body by bending arms until slight stretch is felt in chest or shoulder, or rear end touches floor. Raise body and repeat.... Comments Bench height should allow for full range of motion. To make Easier you can place heels on the floor instead of up on another bench. To make Harder you can place weight on you lap to increase resistance.

Preparation Lie on your back with your arms out by your sides and extend both legs directly up. Execution Drop your left leg straight down towards the ground as far as you can control without touching the ground. Quickly raise your left leg back up while simultaneously lowering your right leg towards the ground. Alternate back and forth.
Preparation Lay on floor or mat. Lie supine (on back) with hands on floor over head. Execution Simultaneously raise your legs and arms to meet in the jack knife position. Return to starting position. Repeat
Preparation Lie on your left side with your shoulder directly above your elbow and your right leg above the left leg. Look straight ahead. Prop yourself up, resting the right arm by your hip. With your forearm and ankle in contact with the floor, lift your hips creating a straight line from ankles, hips, and shoulder. Execution Keep your abdominals, low back muscles, shoulder, arm and lower body muscles tight throughout the duration of the exercise. Repeat with other side once desired time is completed on this side.
Preparation Lie on your back with your feet straight up in the air and your hand reaching upwards. Keep your legs as straight as possible. Execution With your hands reaching out above your shoulders, flex waist to raise upper torso from floor. Slowly drop your shoulders back to the mat. Do not rest your head on the ground until all repetitions are complete. Repeat.

ALTERNATE DUMBBELL FRONT RAISES Raise one dumbbell with elbows locked to eye level. Lower the dumbbell slowly to starting position. Once back to the start continue with alternate arm.
SMITH MACHINE OVERHEAD PRESS Take the bar down to the upper chest. Press bar until arms are extended overhead. Lower and repeat.
PUSH PRESS Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart [A]. Now dip your knees [B], and then in one movement, straighten your legs as you explosively press the barbell over your head until your arms are straight [C]. Return and repeat.
ONE ARM DUMBBELL SHOULDER PRESS Press dumbbell upward until arm is extended overhead. Lower to side of shoulder and repeat. Once you have completed the desired repetitions change arms and repeat.
MACHINE OVERHEAD PRESS Press lever grips until arms are extended overhead. Lower the weight until your elbows are just below parallel with your shoulder joints (fists at the same height as ear lobs). Repeat
Thursday workout! SHOULDERS (DELTOIDS) EXERCISES Press dumbbells until arms are extended overhead. The dumbbells come together at the top. Dumbbells should almost touch at the top right above the crown of the head. Now, slowly lower the dumbbells, keeping the weight balanced over your elbows. Stop when your elbows are just below parallel with your shoulder joints (fists at the same height as ear lobs). Repeat
