Covid-19 Mitigation Plan for Force Boxing and Fitness In accordance with the guidance provided by Island Health for Gyms and Fitness Centres we are implementing the following guidelines for all those who attend our gym. This plan can, and will, be updated periodically as further guidance is issued by the Health Authority, or the Public Health Officer, or as we deem necessary to protect our members and staff. 1. Members are to show up ready to train with the following gear: a ...mask, wraps, boxing gloves, skipping rope, a towel and water. Members must use ONLY their personal gear. 2. All windows will remain open during open gym. Doors will also remain open (if possible) depending on time of day. (Doors closed for safety issues if late or only 2 people in the gym). 3. Before entering the gym, all members MUST properly put on their face mask at least 7 feet from the entrance. After exiting the gym, all members MUST leave their face mask on at least 7 feet away from the entrance. 4. Members with any of the following symptoms, or a member of their household with them, or they have recently travelled (within 2 weeks) will not be admitted: coughing, fever, sore throat or difficulty breathing. Staff members with any of these symptoms will not be permitted to work. 5. Entrance and exit will only be permitted through the main door. Members are asked to respect physical distancing and line up on the tape markings outside the gym while awaiting entry. Only those working out and staff are permitted to enter. Absolutely no entry for visitors or spectators. 6. Members must sanitize their hands at time of arrival and sign the covid daily sign in sheet, indicating date, time, name, phone number and that they are symptom free. 7. Members are also asked to pick up a bottle of spray sanitizer and cloth for use on equipment during their session. The spray sanitizer is Virox-5, a medical grade disinfectant, confirmed effective against SARS-CoV-2 by Health Canada. Members are required to wipe down equipment before and after use. Common areas and surfaces are cleaned by staff every hour during hours of operation. 8. Members are required to respect physical distancing at all times while on the premises, and wear a MASK. While exercising that will be 2.5m distance and 2m when not exercising. 9. Members are encouraged to conduct their workout and exit the facility without unnecessary delay. One member at a time on any piece of equipment or in a designated area (unless from same household). 10. There will be a limit of 8 members allowed in the gym, with a maximum workout of 1 hour. 11. Participants must bring adequate water for themselves for their entire workout. Bottled water will not be provided on site.
We are Closed... April 2nd and April 5th Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Effective immediately!!! Level 1 Children Classes 3:15pm-4pm will be POSTPONED until further notice. With the rising cases on the island we at Force Boxing feel that it is harder to social distance effectively with the younger children. We have put all the accounts on hold and once we are able to start the classes again the 1/2 month credit will be applied to your next active billing. Thank you for your understanding. We will update via Facebook when we are ready to start the class up. Thank you for supporting us as we are a local small business.
