~~Celebrating Canada 150~~ From artist, Kelley James: My rug is titled Postcards From Canada. The inspiration for my design is the natural beauty of Canada. We live in an amazing country - we touch three oceans, we have forests and plains, mountains, icebergs, and tundra. We stretch up beyond the Arctic Circle and down as far as northern California. My rug consists of an iconic image from each province and territory (thirteen squares), the Arctic Circle and Nort...hern Lights spreading across the top of our country, and the maple leaf from our flag borders the bottom. It's pretty much everything that comes to my mind when I think about the beauty of Canada. Thank you for the write-up, Kelley! She also provided us with information for a show celebrating Canada's history. We hope to see you there!
