There is a hole in my heart. Two days ago I had to allow my cat of twenty years to pass from this world. He had several medical issues that slowly ganged up o...n him and despite all efforts he began to take a turn for the worse a few weeks ago and I was forced to let him go rather than watch him slide down hill. This is the sad part of having any animal as a personal best. He was the 'little prince'. Such a great and smart little guy. I miss his voice and often think I see him out of the corner of my eye. I wish we were still together. perhaps one day - A watercolour of my Little Prince on Arches 140 lb Cold Pressed watercolour paper with a limited palette of M. Graham & Co watercolour paint. 12X16 inches
They live on the fringe of our world. Often not seen. Elusive shadows that survive at the edge of the worlds we create. This is a feral cat who lived in a ne...ighborhood I once lived in. I tried to feed her/him as often as I could until one day it disappeared. Their life span is so short. This painting is my tribute to those little guys. How tough they are. A watercolour with a limited palette of primary colors painted on Arches 140lb Cold Pressed watercolour paper. Size is 12X16 inches. Painted with M. Graham & Co. watercolors. See more
Let's introduce you to the world of Raphaël brush making, a know-how passed down from generation to generation since 1793
This is one of the projects I use in my watercolour courses. It's an easy painting to do. I do demonstrations like this in every course I teach so that students can see how achievable these results can be. Perhaps you will try a course.
A new watercolour painting celebrating the relationship of a rider and their horse. Nothing like standing beside your horse knowing that the animal has so much... power and yet it trusts you completely. Such wonderful animals. As mentioned before this is a watercolour completed on Arches cold pressed 140lb paper using a limited palette (that's three colors). The size is 12X16inches. The painting is as yet untitled. A new watercolour painting title; Sharing Secrets Before The Race. Before a race a horse has a chance to warm up by going through the paces. This gives the ho...rse a chance to check out the other horses and wonder why it has to have a hood on it to restrict its vision. This painting was done on Arches 140 lb Cold Pressed watercolour paper with M Graham & Co paints. The full range of colours was created with a limited palette of primary colours. See more
