Fred and Teri's Vintage Cars 13.11.2020

While getting ready for our journey through Saskatchewan I came across this picture a friend gave us. It is circa 1932-34. There is a family connection to our friend and the people in the photo (P. Wiebe & F. Friesen) With a bit of help in translation we believe it is F. Friesen's brother-in-laws grandpa. This family travelled like this from El Paso Texas to Swift Current Sask. around 1932-34. We can count 11 or 12 people in the car but there may be more that we cannot see. And check out that home made back seat! Our car is loaded and ready to go. We can't wait for the journey to begin. Follow us on "My Epic Journey 2018" or Teri Holt

Like and Follow "My Epic Journey" as Fred and Teri (in a 1929 Ford Model A Fordor car) follow Bart and Lisa (in a 1926 Chevy four door car) along the back roads of Saskatchewan heading to Hauge, SK. The depression/dirty 30's were a hard time and we will be travelling as the Fehr Family did back in the early 30's - taking very little with us and hopefully working for food and gas just as they did.

Check out some of our cars which will be on display in Pioneer Village for the 2016 Medicine Hat Stampede. Watch for "Rusty Wobbler" in the stampede parade on Thursday. He's a 1926 Ford Model T who's wheels are a little crooked so he... wobbles down the road! See more
