I haven’t had much to say lately , the health crisis the world finds itself in has been challenging. It looks a little brighter for us here in the North at least and seems as though there could be light at the end of the tunnel. The Horse Park is still for sale and we had originally priced it at just over a million , while I can defend the reasons based on our investments in the property the reality of the current market has convinced us to lower our price to 895,000 . This is the Original Star owned by Denny Sharp and Little Stars namesake , he is shown here in a pastel by Joyce Betts , he lived to be 41 . He was a very smart horse .

So this is the second generation of Little Star, the first one used to toss his head as if to laugh at you , it would appear that current Little Star continues the tradition , He said he had no clue who knocked the board down and pretends to look for the perpetrator , almost had me for a moment . LOL

Had a visitor today in the indoor arena, must of took a wrong turn

This weekend we brought our team to the Northern Ontario Team Tournament. In spite of the not so great weather, our team members brought their best game and we placed third overall, very respectable effort and we are thrilled with the experience and the sportsman like attitudes of all competitors. Watch for the pics as they come in. Thank you to the organizers of the event, Karen LaPlante and her team of volunteers!

So here is the view from the house , looks pretty good , Denny was adamant that this solar project not be ugly ,I think we nailed it !!

So the Solar project continues despite many rain delays , all the bracing is done and tomorrow we start on the rafters and then the Solar panels get placed , as well the inverter has arrived and the inside work will be started this week too , looking forward to green power !!

Morine Sagadore meets and rides Scarlett in the Arena at The French River Horse Park today ,several months ago Debbie Larose bought this beautiful Paint mare , today Debbie shared her favorite horse with her very good friend Morine , she did a great job riding her bareback.

Our new yearling "Two socks" is stealing the show , horning in on "Babies" lunging sesion with Morine Sagadore ,if you watch to the end you can see that he does eventually loose interest. Everyone had a ton of fun in the arena today , at The French River Horse Park !!

Well the French River Horse Park is going Green , We are installing a 10kw solar power station and will be running the whole farm on green energy . The installation has begun and we hope to be running on carbon free energy within 60 days.!!!
