It's our biggest auction of the year! Get your holiday shopping done at the first ever We Care Virtual Holiday Auction. You can set your max bid to make sure no one outbids you, and even put a credit card on file for easy payment. We had a fun day at the 32nd Annual Friends of We Care Flanagan Foodservice Golf Tournament! Thanks to everyone who participated and contributed, Flanagan managed to raise $40,000 to send kids with disabilities to summer camp!

$85,000 from the Smoke’s Poutinerie WORLD POUTINE EATING CHAMPIONSHIP Friends of We Care Social Distancing CEO Challenge 2020!!!!!! Despite all the changes and further last minute changes we are still able to send 283 kids to virtual camp! A big shout out to Robert "Yo! What's Shakin?" Bruski from Ctrl V who won the coveted CEO Challenge trophy this year. Big thanks to Ryan Smolkin and the whole Smoke's Poutinerie family for once again putting on an amazing event, to all the CEOs who took on the challenge, and to all the generous donors. It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of former We Care Executive Director Bruce Curtis. Starting in 1990, Bruce led the We Care team for nearly a decade, after a long career in the foodservice industry. With declining industry support and only 9 major sponsors, Bruce and the Board of Directors worked tirelessly to grow Friends of We Care to 51 major sponsors and annual donations of $500,000. After retiring, Bruce spent time visiting Easter Seals camp...s, aided in the start of Camp Days, and continued to participate in other charity events. His passion and hard work led to our success today. The Bruce D. Curtis Scholarship was established to help support the post-secondary dreams of former We Care Ambassadors. Our condolences go out to the entire Curtis family and his many friends. Friends and family may share their memories of Bruce at bit.ly/BruceDaltonCurtis.

Thank you Cardinal Meats for once again hosting a great Fore the Kids Golf Tournament! Despite all the Covid restrictions, the team managed to pull off a fun day and raised $48,000! That's 160 virtual camp sessions!
