What an incredible day of supporting people in our community. Today, I was helped by Moy, who donated two single beds and Scarlett, who donated two deluxe queen size box springs and mattresses. I also was able to help a very kind lady with the delivery of another bed. Carol and Joe finally got their bed set and the other ones went to Beverly and her daughter Maria and grandson, Davis. Speaking of Beverley and her family, we were introduced to them and learned some of their st...ory. Beverly recently moved in to a suite with her 13 year old daughter and 5 year old grandson. Starting over is really tough especially with kids, so we were thrilled to deliver them three beds today and blessed them up with a Mary Brown's chicken dinner. Heartwarming experience to be sure! We are focusing our outreach efforts on Beverley and her family this week and are hoping to have the chance to make a difference with your help once again. As I mentioned earlier, the bed situation is good but they are needing other things to help turn that apartment into a home. Items were are looking for; Kitchen table/chairs and cutlery and utensils Toaster, coffee maker, microwave Bedding, linen, curtains, lamps and home décor Living room furnishings and bedroom furniture. All items will be picked up and delivered free to Beverley over the next few days. Thank you very much for your support
