We're very happy to report that the residents of Fairmount Home got their second COVID-19 vaccination shots yesterday. We all still need to be very careful and vigilant about minimizing risks but this is a great step. Congratulations to Fairmount staff and many thanks to the folks KFL&A Public Health for helping to organize and run yesterday's clinic. Have a safe and happy Family Day weekend everyone.

Just a short reminder from our colleagues at Frontenac Paramedics that, should you need to call on them for any reason, it’s as important as ever that when they arrive you wear your masks, keep your physical distance, give them time and space to don their personal protective equipment, and tell them about all your symptoms no matter how minor. We’re really glad the KFL&A Public Health region is the in the green zone. Let’s keep it that way and reduce the risks for everyone, including our paramedics.

At MeadowRidge Farm north of Sharbot Lake, Jen and her family practice Natural Horse Care, an approach that returns the horse to as natural a state as possible.
