There was another major internet service breach last week with millions of accounts and passwords being stolen. Details are still surfacing, but our dark web scan has turned up millions of new accounts being shared and sold on the dark web. Now would be a good time to review your password management practices. If you're in the habit of using the same or similar passwords across all sites and services, STOP doing this now. You're making it it very easy for the hacking communit...y to use your stolen password to impersonate you, hack into your email, banking sites, or worse; if you can imagine anything worse. Use a completely unique password for all sites and services so if any one of them get hacked (and they will), the hackers can't use the stolen password for any other site or service. Find a safe trusted password manager tool for your mobile or web browser so you can manage all these new unique passwords. If you need a recommendation, message me and I'll send you a few good options. Another annoying, yet very effective protection measure, is to enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA/2FA) on any site or service that offers it. This means that anytime you log in, you'd receive an additional one time pass-code via text message or authenticator mobile app. This makes it a million times more difficult for a hacker to hack your account, so they'll move on to the next account that doesn't have MFA enabled.
