Liquid Tire Chains! This is a rare option briefly available on 1969 full-size Chevys, Camaros, Chevelles and Novas. Available as RPO V75, Liquid Tire Chain, it employed a dash control to activate a pair of aerosol canisters mounted above the rear tires that contained a space-age polymer ready to coat the rear tires and turn slip into instant grip. Apparently very few were actually ordered, so the option was discontinued prior to the end of the 1969 model run. Anybody out there seen one? I wonder if it was also available for Pontiac, Buick & Oldsmobile?

Always been a fan of these. I owned a 72 J40 a very long time ago (1976) paid $2250 for it at the time! It will be interesting to see what this one sells for at Mecum.
