We’ve all heard that frontline healthcare professionals are in need of personal protective equipment. Last week, the White House asked Walmart to help. Our team... quickly tapped into our global supply chain to find additional manufacturers and by the end of April, 1 million medical gowns will be added to our country’s supply. Thanks to McKesson, those gowns will get into the hands of health systems, doctors and nurses across the country, starting with those most in need. And, that’s just the start as millions more are in the works. Thanks to ES Sutton, Topson Downs, Zinntex, Intradeco, Gildan and Hansae for jumping in to help! We’re also working at the local level to help when we can. Great job to our team for distributing tens of thousands of N95 masks to hospitals and first responders in Louisiana and New York today! I’m so proud we can be a part of helping healthcare professionals who are working hard to keep us, and themselves, healthy.
