This week, when I refused to release a bike to Sebastien Barsetti, I was wrong. It was my mistake, mine alone, and I take full responsibility for this. I have contacted and personally apologized to Sebastien, and he has generously accepted. He also acknowledged my concern for his safety. As a shop owner, I have an obligation to know and share design limits of products with customers, then explain the consequences of operating outside those limits. But that is where my duties ...end. It is not my right to stop anyone from purchasing a product once they have that knowledge. That was my mistake, and I apologize for that. We are very happy that open, honest, and respectful communication between all parties has produced this positive result. Both Giant Halifax and Giant Canada commend Sebastien for his wish to live a healthier lifestyle, and hope that cycling becomes a daily part of his future. Hi Folks, Jonathan Hilder, our amazing Giant Ambassador has asked me to pass this info onto all of you. "I was hoping that we can do a general update on the Zwift rides.. they will be held every Saturday with various routes, starting between 8 AM and 9 AM.... Just add me Jon Hilder on Zwift and I will add you to the Zwift meetups every week. Our rides have the keep together feature on so don't be intimidated to join just keep the pedals turning and you will keep up with everyone. I will also be launching a Wednesday night Criterium series.. this is where you can come and flex your virtual calf muscles. These ones will be held in a race mode so full speed ahead."

The bubble has burst, and COVID is now quickly spreading throughout Nova Scotia, and the rest of Canada. Effective immediately, access to our shop will be by appointment only. We'll have all the details on our website updated as soon as we possibly can. We wish things were different folks, but the health and well being of everyone is our primary focus.
