Gimli Ice Festival

Gimli Rec Centre is the new venue for the commemorative pond hockey games celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Winnipeg Falcons winning the gold at the 1920 Antwerp, Belgium Winter Game 1 (Men's) will start at 1:00 pm and Game 2 (Mixed) will start at 2:00 pm. We have descendants from the Winnipeg Falcons attending this celebration that honours their Afi's and Long Afi's. Please come out and share in this very special event.
