The GMHL (Greater Metro Hockey League) Junior A Hockey League is conducting a Identification Camp to scout talent for the 2020 Hockey Season. NHL Legend Kevin McClelland will be directing the camp which will feature 3 guaranteed skates on Saturday Aug 22, 2020. Registered players will also receive a hockey jersey and have an opportunity to meet with coaches from all 4 of the divisions teams. 2020-21 Junior A Hockey Contracts will be offered and signed at the end of the camp. Congratulations to GMHL West Alumni Austin Mood-Flagg from the Slave Lake Icedogs on his advancement to Iowas ACHA Div 1 Waldorf Warriors University Hockey Team. Austin recieved a scholarship and will be attending business school in the fall.

We have heard of some of the amazing workout routines of some of our GMHL West athletes during this off-season and its impressive. Keep it going and continue setting those goals!

Congratulations to our 2019-2020 Slave Lake Icedog team captain Austin Mood-Flagg on his commitment to the ACHA Div 1 Waldorf Warriors! He will be taking his bachelor of arts at their University in Iowa. Congratulations & well done Austin! #gmhl
