This article really speaks to me. A common criticism or concern about relocalization movements like Transition Towns is that they are too small, insignificant, of limited impact, do not scale up, etc. In this article Charles Eisenstein exposes the dominant logic that drives the "bigger is better" thinking that is routinely applied in NGO and social movement circles as it is in business. It is, ultimately, the flawed logic of a flawed and failing system, and questioning it causes us to question everything.
