Tonight Taco, a Senegal joined our flock, he was brought to us by very kind people. He has had the end of his beak cut off. He probably bit someone so they decided to fix him......well they friggin well did. It will be a very long time for it to grow back to a regular formed pointed beak. This is our largest annual campaign ever. COVID has greatly affected our fundraising efforts. Normally we would do a toy drive at Christmas but this year we need to aim higher. Our hope, our wish, our dream for this holiday season is to raise SIX MONTHS rent for our Ladner shelter. 60 parrots, including Macaws, Cockatoos and Amazons, call this home. They have sunshine, fresh air, music, good food and people who love them. The only thing better would be a home of their very ...own.
