Are you a grade 11, 12 or first year CEGEP student with a keen interest in science? Does the topic of genetics sound exciting to you? Do you wish to acquire a hands on opportunity to take part in an amazing research program? If so, the Gene Researcher For A Week (GRFAW) program, in association with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research may be something for you! Every year, 50 enthusiastic students across the nation are given an opportunity to learn how genes cause genetic disorders and how leading Canadian scientists use these findings to develop treatments and cures for genetic diseases.
