The GRIND U9 ECMC Oilers had a great morning coming out with two wins against the Southern Ice Dogs! Game 1 finished 6-3. Goal Scorers for the Oilers were Rowan Steeves (3), Jack Baxter (2), and Emerson Pirie. MVP: Rowan Steeves Hardest Worker: Emerson Pirie... Game 2 finished 3-2. Goal scorers for the Oilers were Camden Ward & Rowan Steeves (2). MVP: Camden Ward Hardest Worker: Jack Baxter The Oilers are back at it Wednesday afternoon when they travel to Moncton to take on the Vipers at the Avenir Center. Another great day for hockey! The GRIND ECMC U9 Oilers were back in action against the Southern Ice Dogs. Game 1 was a close one! The Oilers jumped out to an early lead but the Ice Dogs came back strong with the game finishing 4-3. MVP: Emerson Pirie... Hardest Worker: Evan Tracey Game 2 was a strong one for the Oilers, potting 5 first period goals, and keeping the puck in the offensive zone, with the game finishing 9-2. MVP: Jax Carr Hardest Worker: Chase Nicolle The Oilers will be back in action in two weeks at the Veterans Cup!!
The U9 GRIND ECMC Oilers came out on top with two big wins today against the Southern Ice Dogs. Game 1 was a tight battle finished at 6-3. Game 2 started with a quick 5-0 lead then the Oilers cruised to a convincing win. MVPs were Cam Ward and Jack Baxter. Hardest workers were Owen Weir and Grady Penney. The Oilers are back in action next weekend with another double header against the Southern Ice Dogs.
