What’s your biggest insecurity? Like many young men, I suffer from early onset male pattern baldness or more scientifically called androgenic alopecia. This is a genetic condition that can affect both men and women. Men with this condition, called male pattern baldness can begin suffering hair loss as early as their teens or early 20s. It's characterized by a receding hairline and gradual disappearance of hair from the crown and frontal scalp. There is not one specific re...ason this happens. Many things can contribute : Hormones; Genes; Stress; Illness; Drugs; Injuries; Medical conditions; Diet. I’ve tried many things in the past that helped slow the process but unfortunately there’s nothing that can actually stop it. A few years ago I decided to start wearing an adhered hair replacement (otherwise known as a toupée) This made a huge difference in my self esteem and inner confidence. Especially being in the hair industry I felt like I should have hair! While I don’t scream from the rooftops that I am bald, I also don’t keep it a secret from my friends, family and clients. I’m always willing to talk and help educate people about hair loss and the options that are available. This is not something to be ashamed of but it can still be difficult to accept and deal with. We have made the decision to close our doors for the time being. Thank you to everyone who has continued to support us through this trying time. We have made the unfortunate decision to close our doors due to the rising concern of COVID-19. This was not an easy decision and still isn't an easy decision, but we are trying to do our best to keep our staff and clients healthy and safe and do what is best for our business. We are currently calling all of our clients booked over... the next couple weeks to reschedule your appointment. We will be keeping you updated as we go to know when we will re-open. We can not strain enough the effect that this virus has taken on small businesses, it has not only affected the overall profits of businesses as we all still have rent and bills to continue paying, but also all businesses that have closed have had to lay off all of their staff. We urge everyone to continue to support the small businesses in your area whether it be purchasing gift cards, products on line or ordering out food and to not judge them or criticize them for the incredibly hard decisions they have had to make. We will be doing product home deliveries throughout the next couple weeks for those in need of products, as well gift card purchases.
