Join me as a volunteer! DO YOU HAVE TIME TO LEND A HAND? Comox Valley Better at Home has been designated a COVID-19 emergency hub for elders in our community and we are working with community partners to get groceries, meals and phone calls to older adults who are staying at home to protect themselves. If you would like to help, we are looking for volunteers to drop prepared meals at people's doors, shop for groceries or make check-in phone calls. Jeanni, 92 had a hankering for a beer yesterday and wanted to check out Gladstone's (Brewing Co.) so off we went! It was sunny and hot and the beer hit the spot! (As did their delicious french fries!)
