Happy to see HGC client TELUS donating 120 tablets to children entering care in Manitoba. These children can now stay in touch with loved ones, continue their schooling and remain connected during the COVID-19 pandemic. Great teamwork by TELUS and Manitoba Families Minister Heather Stefanson! For more information visit https://news.gov.mb.ca/news/index.html?archive=today

Our team at Harris Greenaway can’t think of a better way to kickstart the weekend than with a crisp Original16 with Saskatchewan’s local band Bombargo ! Just because we have to stay apart, doesn’t mean we can't come together for some fun. Grab your favourite Great Western Brewing beverage, and tune in for the most exciting virtual party this weekend. The Original 16 Brewery Sessions Viewing Party starts this Friday at 7pm, and will be playing the best tunes into the evening. ...Don’t forget to hit attending! Today’s SREDA Forum 2020, hosted by SREDA - Saskatoon Regional Economic Development Authority, has been very engaging so far. Today’s focus is on growth in the economy. SREDA supported the City of Saskatoon in developing its growth agenda and came up with four key pillars of growth: continue to be a leader in natural resources, be a centre where industries grow through innovation, be a leader in Indigenous economic reconciliation and be known as Canada’s most livable mid-sized city. Hearing from today’s speakers (27 in total) and seeing our city through their many eyes has been inspiring. We’re just as excited about this city and it’s future and we will work to help build what Mayor Charlie Clark called a mountain of opportunity.

Local media is alive, well and kicking in Saskatoon according to our Coffee Off Broadway guest Alex MacPherson. Alex has reported for the Saskatoon StarPhoenix for the last five years and recently took the plunge into covering municipal politics and the City Hall beat in Saskatoon. We look forward to his coverage of the upcoming municipal election. Thanks to everyone who came out for coffee this morning! The next Coffee Off Broadway is Wednesday, March 25th and our President Steven Greenaway will offer a long-view perspective on the Saskatchewan Government's provincial budget. It's set to be delivered March 18th.
