The moment you have been waiting for..We are very excited to finally announce that we will be opening our doors again on Wednesday, May 20th! But safety first! Our team is taking all necessary steps to ensure you feel comfortable at Headspace when you come to see us in our New Normal. The salon experience will look and feel a little bit different, but you will confidently know that you’re in a safe space to enjoy your service. To help keep the capacity of the salon low we... are working in two teams, alternating working days. We will be open seven days a week to be able to fit everyone in a timely matter. Bookings For the clients who had their appointments cancelled with in the first 6 weeks of our salon closure and those of you on our wait list already, will be receiving a phone call from the salon in the next 2 days. We will not be answering the salon phone until we are open again on May 20th so we can call everybody on the list. Please be patient, if you are on the list we will be calling you. If you would like to be added to this list at this time please email your request.

It was announced yesterday that hair salons will be part of second phase in the reopening plan. Although details are vague, we are encouraged and excited about today’s development, however the actual reopening date is not yet been announced as we are waiting for more info from WorkSafe BC. When this announcement happened, we as an industry had more questions than answers, but we are all working together to find the best way to work the New Normal so we can all get back to w...hat we love doing most. We at Headspace are making use of this time to ensure the salon space will feel safe and as comfortable as we can for everyone. There are certain changes that are in process but it is a work in progress to make this a smooth transition to our new normal. There will be changes in the physical layout of the salon, a new schedule for your favorite stylist, staggering appointments, needing to have PPE for the stylist (which is hard to come by these days), requirements that need to be put in place inside and outside the salon. Please email us at [email protected] to reserve your spot on the list of appointments waiting to be booked in if you haven’t already done so. At the end of the day, there is still a lot to do and figure out as we wait for the guidelines to come out. THE SALON WILL BE OPEN AGAIN, this I can promise you! The big question is when as there was no official date set for re-opening following the announcement. All I ask is for patience for a little bit longer. We’ve made it this far and BC has done so well as we are all in this together. We look forward to seeing you all soon!

To our Headspace Guests, With heavy hearts and the toughest decision, we ever had to make. We wanted to provide you with an update with our response to this ever-changing situation. First and foremost, we would like to thank each and every one of you for your amazing and ongoing dedication and loyalty to Headspace Salon over the years. Effective as of 4pm Wednesday, March 18th Headspace Salon will be closing due to COVID-19. We are hopefully re-opening on Wednesday April 1st ...depending on the current situation. Ensuring the health and safety of our stylists and clients and the surrounding community is our top priority. We want to do our part to flatten the curve and reduce the spread of the novel Coronavirus. We are saddened by the turn of events of the situation which keep evolving quickly. Public health officials have said that businesses that do stay open are asked to ensure a physical distance of one to two meters. In our case this is not possible to do. This has left us with no choice but to close the Salon. If you have an appointment during this time you will be receiving a phone call from Julie to reschedule your appointment time. We apologize for any inconvenience this will cause and we appreciate your patience and understanding during this difficult time. We will continue to monitor this situation closely and will provide ongoing updates as needed.
