Lots of great services available.
We ask all patients to bring and wear their own masks to their scheduled appointments.
With the increase in COVID-19 cases in our community it is imperative that if you have any symptoms or recent exposures that you let our staff know right away and not come into the clinic. We need to take proper precautions to stop the spread and ensure our clinic and staff remain healthy and open. 1 exposure in the clinic can result in multiple physicians and staff off for 14 days. There is a link to screen yourself and our staff are screening patients prior to appointments but please do your part and stay home if you are unwell. Contact health link 811 to go through any testing or symptoms. Here is the link to self screen. Our physicians are offering telephone consults if you are unable to come into the clinic let our staff know. https://myhealth.alberta.ca//COVID-19/Pages/Assessment.aspx

Due to the risk of spread of COVID-19 and updated direction from Alberta Health, our clinic will actively screen all patients in person and by phone for symptoms and risk factors of COVID-19. Patients are asked to wear a mask, please wear your own if you have one or one will be provided. Some patients may find this inconvenient, but it is our responsibility to ensure we are doing all that we can to limit spread. If even one member of our staff become infected or exposed, we ...risk shutting down the entire clinic for a period of time. If you are having cough, fever, or shortness of breath, but are otherwise well, self-isolate and please do not attend the clinic. We ask patients to contact 811 (be persistent as they are receiving high call volume) to talk to a nurse who will arrange a time and place to swab you for COVID-19. You can now take a self-assessment online at https://www.ahs.ca which will direct you on next steps for your care. Self-isolation instructions can be found at this link: https://www.alberta.ca/. . ./health-self-isolation-information-sheet.pdf If you are having trouble breathing with the above symptoms please go to your nearest Emergency Department or call 911. Please phone the Emergency Department prior to your visit to give them advanced notice, so they can be prepared and avoid quarantining a whole crew of staff. Thank you for your understanding.

REGARDING APPOINTMENT BOOKING In order to minimize transmission of the COVID-19 virus please read the following In order to limit the number of people coming into our clinic and reduce care burdens, we ask the following of our patients:... 1. Prior to making an appointment with your physician, please ensure you have screened yourself through available criteria for COVID and avoid booking an appointment if you are positive for the screening questions. AHS is updating websites daily 2. There is a newly created online screening tool that can be used as well and it will be linked on our page. ( see the comments for the link) 3. If you test positive to the screening questions, please immediately self-isolate yourself (and any family members you have been in contact with) and call 811 (HealthLink) for further instructions. We understand that wait times are very long at this time but we do not have the capacity to respond to your questions and concerns regarding COVID at our office. 4. If you have a scheduled appointment, expect to receive a call from our clinic doing pre screening, some phone consults are available if necessary.
