Heather Curling Club 21.01.2021

Dear Heather Members, The WHOLE Province of New Brunswick moved to Orange level as of midnight, Tuesday, January 5th under the province’s revised COVID-19 recovery plan. In the Orange level, subject to the Public Health and WorkSafeNB COVID-19 general guidance, the following apply: "Recreational and sport organizations may operate but are limited to practices and/or skills and drills within a single team". The Heather Curling Club does not have any competitive teams that requ...ire regulated practice and so our Club is effectively closed to members, as of midnight, Tuesday, January 5th , until Zone 2 returns to Yellow Level. The W.C. O'Neill Arena will have limited activity in that they will allow hockey teams practices -only- while we are at Orange Level while cancelling all outside meetings, including possible public council sessions until further notice. Volunteers are very critical to the operation of our club and will be allowed to enter as required for routine duties however but they must follow all COVID protocols in accordance with our Operational Plan. Please stay safe everyone, wear your masks and follow the protocols so that we can get back on the ice as soon as possible. See more
