BRAIN (aka Blueberry Avocado) POWER SMOOTHIE (Recipe from our awesome HER Fit Club community. Join HERE: https://m.facebook.com/groups/230731914024145 ) INGREDIENTS: 2 cups blueberries... 1 cup pomegranate juice (or any berry juice) 1 cup ice cubes 1 Tbsp. chia seeds 1 scoop Organifi red juice (https://amzn.to/2MIit1f CAN or https://amzn.to/2P7Vi24 US) 1 ripe banana, peeled half of an avocado, peeled and pitted DIRECTIONS: Add all ingredients to a blender and pulse until combined and smooth. If the smoothie is too thick, add more juice. If the smoothie is too thin, add more ice. TIP: If you hate avocados and are looking for ways to incorporate it into your daily diet due to it's healthy properties this smoothie will do it! This 6 week series is designed to deliver fun, effective, metabolism boosting workouts to help you reach your fitness goals and make you feel and look amazing while constantly challenging your body! This program includes: - Weekly in person classes on Monday evenings at 8:15pm at Swansea Town Hall - Additional weekly 20-30 min home workouts to boost metabolism and help your body transformation (workouts will include pictures and videos so it will be like I am there with you while you work out). Energy Snowballs you wont be able to resist... Dont leave home without these no-bake energy treats this Holiday Season! I know it is a super busy time for you so I wanted to share this awesome recipe I think you will absolutely love! It is an amazing healthy treat that doubles as a great snack for those really busy days when you are running around trying to find perfect gifts...... It is packed with nuts, oats and seeds for instant snack gratification with no guilt attached :-) 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut 5 squares 90% dark chocolate 1 cup toasted sliced almonds (or raw) 1/3 cup quick oats 3 Medjool dates, pitted and chopped 2 tbsp hemp seeds 1 tbs Organifi superfood powder (you can get it here: http://amzn.to/2A6fsWb) 2 tbs solid coconut oil 1/2 tsp natural vanilla extract Pinch of salt Zest of half an orange 1. Place unsweetened coconut in a food processor and process until quite fine, but not pureed or wet. Set aside in a bowl to be used later. 2. Place chocolate, almonds, oats in the bowl of the same food processor. Process for about 1 to 2 minutes, until mixture is quite fine . Add in chopped dates, seeds, superfood powder, coconut oil, vanilla, salt and orange zest. Blend until mixture forms a ball. 3. Place mixture in an airtight container and refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight. Measure 1tbs of the mixture and roll into a ball. Roll each ball in the coconut until completely covered. You can store them in the fridge for up to 3 weeks. These are so delicious, they are perfect for entertaining your guests over the Holidays too!
