Gorgi update. So it’s been a rough week and a half for Gorgi but he’s doing better. Back story, about 5 weeks ago he had a seizure late in the day, took him to ...the emergency vet, said he was ok but gave him medicine in case of a repeat. Then August 20 he had two seizures late in the afternoon, gave him the meds, then Thursday he had 7 seizures in the space of 26 hours, 4 after he started Phenobarbital. It was horrible. Friday he was a zombie from exhaustion and drugs, yesterday still exhausted and groggy (actually fell over in the kitchen standing still). Today he’s better but still not himself but more coordinated and not so spacey. We will keep a close eye in him, make sure he’s ok and slowly reintroduce him to being a working dog if he can safely handle it. Fingers crossed. See more
