As many of you know we were planning our grand opening to coincide with meet the teacher night on Aug 29th. Unfortunately the wrong ground cover was delivered which needs to be removed and the proper product installed. This will take 2-3 weeks to complete. We will pass along more details when we have them finalized. We ask that everyone respect the fencing and stay off the playground until work is complete.

Thank you to the Town of Hampton for lending some of their summer students to help lay our filter fabric & prepare the ground for Fibar! These hard working students will be raking & spreading Fibar all this week! Its a tough job & these young men & women are eager to help! #bettertogether

Construction is almost complete! Landscaping has begun. Fibar spreading begins next week. Stay tuned for details of our grand opening soon!

Construction is wrapping up and the Fibar for the ground cover has been delivered. It won't be long now! We are still looking for donations to cover the final piece of equipment. We are also in need of a couple more benches and a couple picnic tables. Please message us if you can help.

Work on the Zipcruz continues. The playstructure installation has begun. The musical instruments are being assembled. Donations are still being accepted!

The rock breaking is finally done and the installation of another piece has begun!! We are still looking for donations to complete phase 2 of this project!

June 27, 2019 - Playground update: we are currently experiencing unexpected delays! During the excavation process, we hit rock and unfortunately, a lot of it! Rock hammering has been ongoing in order to install a safe, accessible and level playground. We continue to accept donations to offset these costs and the purchase of three final pieces of equipment.

A big Thank You! to Barb & Kyla from Hampton Physiotherapy for their donation of $250 towards the playground project! The support shown from so many Hampton businesses is truly amazing! Every dollar brings us closer to our goal!!

And the first piece is in with others unpacked! Still time to donate if you're able to!

Our MLA Gary Crossman stopped by Big Fair Day to share some wonderful news! Our playground has been awarded the FYCAP grant in the amount of $31,000! This puts our grand total at $333,000! Hampton Dental Clinic really put a SMILE on our face this morning!! They contacted us yesterday with a donation of $5000!!! BUT when they heard how close we were to completing our first phase (only another $1429) they INCREASED their donation to put us OVER the top! AMAZING!... What seemed impossible has now become reality! Our work continues as we strive to complete the ENTIRE playground! We welcome all donations of any amount!
