Ugh. Covid. We all wish we didn’t have to talk about it anymore, but it’s important to, because this pandemic thing is still happening. We’re all tired of this, and the new restrictions aren’t helping in the encouragement department, are they? (Though they’re necessary.) It can feel aggravating, disheartening, and often hopeless to feel like we’re doing everything right but it still isn’t enough. If that’s you, and you’re following the rules - doing your best to stop the spre...ad and maybe even sacrificing your own happiness - we feel you, we thank you, we’re with you. . But if, by chance, you’re not doing that, and you’re reading this... We know how much it sucks to miss our friends too. We’d love to get back to travelling. But we also have lonely grandparents. We have nieces and nephews we haven’t met yet. We’re having Covid birthdays all over again. We know parents working in hospitals who can’t see their children. Way too many people have had to cancel or pivot or postpone their weddings. The list goes on & it’s not fair for anyone. . We have been staying optimistic that our Heyday couples will be able to go ahead as planned this summer, with all of the safety protocols we have in place, but it can’t happen unless the curve is flattened first. So please start doing your part now (or continue, because we just can’t give up!), so we can get back to envisioning those happy days ahead for all the many people that deserve them! We all need a reason to celebrate & we’ll finally have one when this ends! . TLDR; The weather is getting nicer, so let’s all do better to be safer (pretty please), for a chance to enjoy life like normal this summer & so none of our couples will have to change their plans again! xo. .
