#TipTuesday Spring Cleaning Tip Time to freshen up your drains! This is especially helpful for seldom-used drains, such as guest bathrooms and kitchen sinks, as fruit fly season is coming! To freshen drains and help keep them free-flowing, mix 1/2 cup baking soda with 1/4 cup salt. Pour the mixture down the drain, followed by 1 cup heated vinegar. It will foam and bubble. Let it stand for 15 minutes tops. Follow by running hot tap water.... #HillsMoving #SpringCleaning

If you're hiring a moving company, be sure to ask how they are mitigating Covid health risks. 2. Inquire about PPE. Are they wearing masks, gloves and other using other measures to ensure everyone's safety?... 3. Do they have access to hand washing and sanitizer? This will save you having to re-cycle it when you're settling into your new home. 2. Use either buckets or totes, depending on the length of your trip, to keep the water from your tank.... 3. Make sure your buckets or totes have suffice air flow for your fish. 4. Take any live plants from your tank and place them in bags with water from your tank. 5. Remove all remaining decorations from the tank to prevent cracks. 6. If your move is short, you can put your uncleaned filter media into sealed containers, again, ensuring there's water from the tank to maintain bacteria. 7. "MOVING MADE EASY...the truest thing even written on a business card...I was moving and had everything arranged, the truck I was going to use got in an accident around 4pm the day before...I started calling every moving company I could find on the internet...I got quotes from all of them and was getting stressed beyond belief with the prices they wanted...ALL of them were charging a 3 hour min. no matter how long it took and if you went 5 min over the 3hr you got charged for ...another hour and then a bunch of charges on top of that...I then got very very lucky and called Hills Moving...I could not believe the difference in the pricing...their prices where less then half of everyone else's, they charged an hour min. and 1/2 an hour if you go over you time...they showed up early, they had the truck loaded in about 20 min (very impressive) the two guys doing the loading were nice, friendly, helpful and an absolute joy to deal with....I want to thank you all for turning something that could have been a very stressful day into a breeze...
