Lever Action Silhouette Shooters please take note: The Government of Alberta has recently announced some new protocols to slow the spread of the COVID 19 virus. Under these restrictions we would be limited to 10 persons outside and would be unable to have anyone in the Clubhouse. Therefore we must postpone this Sunday’s Lever Action Silhouette Shoot. We hope to be able to host the event on Sunday, December 20. Hopefully the Virus restrictions will ease by then and the weather will co-operate.

Albertans can now share their opinions about the provincial firearms policy and how we can best support law-abiding gun owners while keeping Albertans safe. Fee...dback will help inform the work of the Firearms Advisory Committee, which was formed to examine the impact of the federal firearms legislation on gun owners in Alberta. Albertans can also register to participate in one of two telephone town halls: Tuesday Nov 17 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov 23 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Take the survey by December 6 or register for a town hall: https://www.alberta.ca/alberta-firearms-advisory-committee.

LEVER ACTION RIFLE SHOOTERS ! Sunday, October 25, The High Prairie Fish & Game Association will be hosting a Lever Action Silhouette Shoot. Shooting will start at 10:00 AM. There are classes for .22 LR, Pistol Calibre Lever Actions, and Big Bore Lever Actions. $10.00 per class, lunch provided. Lots of fun for the whole family.

The High Prairie Fish & Game Association Gun Club has lost one of our own. We wish to extend our heartfelt sympathies to Rod, Michelle, Ethan Smith, Scott, Kesha and Ryaen and their families and friends. Early morning, Wednesday, Sept 23, Kelsi Smith, passed away after a courageous three year battle. She is loved and will be missed by all who met her.

Great time at the Athabasca Gun Club Trap Range this weekend. Wonderful facility even better people. We look forward to visiting again.
