Rabbits are curious, social companions and very entertaining to watch! Check out Scoops and Pika as they do some exploring and have a quick snack. Is a rabbit the right pet for you? Your companion rabbit will be with you for 7-10 years on average, and enjoy playing and exploring. They do need lots of exercise and a varied diet. Be prepared to do some 'rabbit proofing'. These guys are doing well on their house training and have been spayed. Interested in adopting or perhaps looking for a freind for your current Rabbit? Contact us at 902-536-2032 or message us here, we often have companion rabbits for adoption at SPCA locations.

Meet Tulip! Tulip is a 4 month old, litter-box trained, spayed bunny who is actively looking for her forever home. This sweet girl is full of energy, and loves to enjoy new experiences. She can be shy at first glance, but warms up quickly. Tulip would be best suited as a house rabbit with room to jump around. Rabbits are a lifelong commitment, living approximately 7 to 10 years. Rabbits are highly social, and do best when they have plenty of interaction with family members. If you're interested in meeting Tulip or one of our other rabbits, please call us at 902-536-2032 or message us here to arrange to come in and meet them.

Scoops is a sweet and fun loving bunny. She loves to flip her toys around and burrow in her blankets. She enjoys being petted and is a very outgoing girl. Scoops came to us as a stray but has obviously had a home prior to being in our care. Scoops would be best suited to an indoor home that will show this girl all the love she wants. To adopt please message us here or call us at 902-536-2032

Meet Pika! She is a sweet but slightly shy bunny looking for a loving home. Pika is still reserved with new people friends but once she warms up she loves to sit in your lap and snuggle up under your chin. Pika is spayed and is very good at using her litter. She would be best suited to a quiet indoor home that will love this special girl forever. If you are interested in this lovely bunny, please reach out to us at 902-536-2032.

*adopted* Tabasco is approximately 3 months old, when he first arrived in our care he was a hissy little boy. He has spent the last two weeks in a foster home learning that humans are ok, and he's learned that he enjoys being held. Because of his feral kitten roots he can be overwhelmed quickly by new experiences and seek out the safety of hiding spaces. His new home should be fairly quiet, but also have the time and patience to spend interacting with him so he continues ...to learn that things aren't so scary. He loves to be held and will tell you so by almost immediately purring. He absolutely loves other cats ,they help him be brave and he will come out of hiding to follow them around so a home with other cats is a must. He absolutely needs to be an indoor only cat, as the outside world is just too scary and dangerous for him. He is cautious but tolerate of other dogs, but appreciates if they keep their distance. Our newest adoptables are these adorable baby mice, now just 4 weeks old Jude and his brother are looking for a home together. They enjoy learning new mazes of papertowel rolls and cardboard boxes. They are entertaining little creatures to watch, on average mice can live up to 2 years. You will need to provide a kennel specifically for small critters, as are still very small and can squeeze through bars. Message us here to find out more!
