We are currently seeking Journeymen and Apprentice Power Line Technicians (PLTs) and Heavy Equipment Operators for our Manitoba operations. All positions will be based out of Winnipeg, however travel is required as services extend into Southern Manitoba. PLTs will be responsible for performing a variety of assignments that involve all aspects of the installation, construction, troubleshooting, repairing, specialized testing, and maintenance of all overhead and underground dis...tribution, transmission lines, switching stations, substations, communication networks, streetlight facilities, and infrastructure. Heavy Equipment Operators will be responsible for supporting all efforts of the aforementioned operations. A valid Class 5 license is required with a 1A preferred. A Rubber Glove Ticket would be considered an asset. We are seeking an Office Administrator for our Central Office in Saskatoon, who will be responsible for disbursing accounts payable to individuals, suppliers, corporations, and other entities, along with the processing of our organization’s bi-weekly payr...oll function for approximately 200 employees (salary and hourly). The successful candidate will ensure the timely and accurate processing of payment documents such as purchase orders, travel reimbursements, and any other accounting transactions related to accounts payable management. Filing, maintaining and updating financial spreadsheets, maintaining credit balances and account irregularities, and the administration and tracking of various deductions and contributions are also responsibilities of this position. This position involves diplomatic interaction to provide billing information and support in order to facilitate daily bank reconciliations. It is also the responsibility of this position to greet and screen visitors, answer inbound phone calls and direct as appropriate, handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, and communicate with various parties during their career cycle with us. A Business College Diploma and 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable and/or payroll is preferred. Holding a Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certificate and/or an accounting background would be an asset.
