Hey Facebook fam, today marks 1 month of us being open. While this week may not have been the easiest after the new lockdown announcement, we as a team decided to focus on the positives rather than the negatives.. to be thankful rather than apprehensive. Here are some of the many things we’re thankful for - 1. We are thankful to our loyal patrons, who stood by us right from our Mat’s Diner days, and continued to show us their support when we embarked on this new journey. ... 2. We are thankful for our wonderful Kensington neighborhood, that welcomed us with open arms. 3. We are thankful to our kind, ambitious, talented staff (like Chef Yogi) who put their heart and soul into creating this with us. 4. We are thankful for all the encouraging messages/shout outs and all the support that we received from our well wishers and friends, before AND after the new announcement was made. 5. Lastly, we are thankful to all of our new customers who stopped by this past month and decided to give us a try, when we know there are so many other great options out there. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We’re here because of you. We got through one lockdown, and we WILL get through this as well, as long as we follow the rules.
